The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Lake Constance with its parks is about 100 meters away. St. Gallen with its beautiful old town is worth a visit. The nearby Appenzellerland invites you to hikes. Mainau, Konstanz, Lindau, Bregenz, Friederichshafen are easy to get to by boat or train.

The stately wooden house was built 140 years ago in Biedermeier style and has been little changed in all these years. It still reflects a forward-looking and cosmopolitan generation.
